Original UK paperback editions published by Macdonald Young Books. A collectible children’s fantasy set featuring the adventures of Ben and Jennet in the mysterious seaside town of Whitby. The series was originally published between 1991 and 1994, with the boxed set dating from around 1995.

The set includes the original illustrated slipcase, with striking artwork by David Wyatt. A desirable item for Robin Jarvis, children’s fantasy and 1990s book-cover collectors.

CONDITION:

All three books appear complete, with no obvious missing pages.
Covers show considerable rubbing, creasing, scratches and edge wear from storage and handling.
Page edges are noticeably browned and marked, with some age-related foxing/staining.
The slipcase has heavy surface wear, creasing, scuffing and splitting/tearing around the edges and corners.
The books have been stored together in the original case, but the set is not in collector-grade or near-mint condition.
